One DJ, from the first look to the last song.

Telluride wedding DJ

I'm Hank. I've played Telluride weddings for years: the vows, the toasts, the first dance, and the part late in the night when everyone's finally on the floor. One person, one sound system, one story.

Your day

Your wedding day, four moments. Each one handled.

Every wedding is a different room and a different crowd. The shape of the day is the same, and I've got a plan for every part of it.

01

Ceremony

Clean wireless mics for the officiant and your vows. Processional and recessional on cue. A discreet second speaker so the back row hears every word.

02

Cocktail hour

Warm, present, never loud. The set that makes the patio feel like a party is starting, because it is.

03

Reception

Grand entrance, first dance, parent dances and toasts with a light MC touch. Then the floor opens and it stays full until you tell me otherwise.

04

After-party

Back at the lodge, the tavern, or wherever the night goes. This is the part your friends talk about at brunch.

Packages

Three ways to book.

Every package includes a planning call, a timeline review with your planner, a collaborative playlist, pro sound and a backup rig. Pick the shape of your day, or we build something custom.

For planners

The vendor who makes your timeline easier.

  • Run-of-show, not vibes. I work from your timeline, confirm cues in writing, and send a one-page music sheet to the couple two weeks out.
  • Self-contained. Two full systems, wireless mics, power distro and cable ramps. I don't need house sound and I don't borrow gear.
  • Early and quiet. Load-in before your florals, sound check before guests, no truck in the ceremony shot.
  • Backup for everything. Second controller, second laptop, redundant audio path. If something dies, nobody notices.
  • Insured and easy to book. COI on request, simple contract, deposit by card or Venmo.
  • Local. Based in Telluride, so no travel drama for Mountain Village, Ridgway, Ouray or Dunton.

Venues

Venues I know well.

Where the power is, where the ceiling eats bass, where the sun lands at 6 PM. Familiar rooms mean fewer surprises on your day.

Where I play

Wedding DJ for Telluride, Mountain Village and the San Juans.

Based in Telluride, so there is no travel fee for anything in the box canyon or up the gondola. Ridgway, Ouray and Dunton are an easy drive. Durango and Crested Butte are doable with a night's lodging.

Telluride

Town Park, the Sheridan Opera House, Telluride Conference Center and private homes on the mesa. I know the noise ordinance and the load-in windows.

Mountain Village

Mountain Lodge Telluride, Tomboy Tavern, San Sophia Overlook and Gorrono Ranch. Gondola logistics and altitude-friendly power runs handled.

Ridgway & Ouray

Ranch weddings, hot-springs receptions and downtown venues, 45 minutes out. Same rate as Telluride.

Dunton & beyond

Dunton Hot Springs, Durango, Crested Butte and Aspen on request. Travel and lodging at cost, quoted up front.

Questions

The things couples ask first.

How much does a wedding DJ cost in Telluride?

My packages run $1,500 to $2,900 depending on hours and lighting. Ceremony sound, wireless mics and a backup rig are included at every level.

Do you do the ceremony audio too?

Yes. Two wireless mics, a discreet speaker for the back row, and processional and recessional cued to your planner's timeline.

Can we pick the music?

You get a collaborative playlist for must-plays and a do-not-play list. I fill the gaps and read the room from there.

Do you travel outside Telluride?

Mountain Village, Ridgway, Ouray and Dunton are home turf. Beyond 60 miles I add travel and lodging at cost.

What if something breaks?

Nothing you'd notice. I carry a second controller, laptop and audio path to every wedding.

How do we hold a date?

A 20% deposit by card or Venmo holds it. Balance is due one week before. Simple contract, COI on request.
